The business landscape is VUCA: Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA). Leaders today, more than ever before, have to win people’s cooperation. If you’re a leader of any type, you can’t simply order people around and expect them to do what you want. They may follow your directions initially, but once they’re left on their own they’ll probably go back to doing what they think is important if they are not motivated and inspired.
The training course provides insight into how managers can motivate and inspire their teams effectively. We discuss the underlying principles of the core models of motivation and how managers can utilise these in the workplace. We also explore potential inhibitors of motivation, intrinsic and extrinsic, including how to recognise demotivation and formulate strategies for motivational change.
During the training course we discuss what the critical components of Inspirational Leadership and Executive Presence are. Using the findings from our 2015 research with nearly 200 leaders, we highlight the distinction between Inspirational Leadership and Executive Presence and explore the qualities of both. In the interactive session, we show delegates how they can develop and achieve both to manage and motivate their teams effectively in order for them to reach their full potential and achieve success.
