Teams exist in many places, from sporting teams, to project and executive teams. The idea of teamwork is one that many of us are aware of and adopt in everyday life and it is so fundamental to working life that it can have a strong impact on the quality of experiences within an organisation. For the benefit of the team members and the business, it is important to consider whether teams are as effective, collaborative and productive as they can be. One of the first steps to realising the ways in which a team is most successful, and to discovering the areas where a team might have skill gaps, is to understand each of the individual working styles in a team and to then assess how those individuals perform together when collaborating.
A collaborative workplace naturally develops a sense of community, which provides a safe environment for team members to contribute to the overall success of the organisation. When there is collaboration, teams deliver results collectively, with each member performing to their strengths. Teams who know their collective strengths and development needs are much better at actively seeking support from each other, and offering it when needed. This internal awareness helps the team to develop everyone, resulting in great progress and collaboration.
This session will provide an insight into the role you play in a team, and how you contribute to the teams' success. We invite the audience to complete our online Team Insights tool to gain a thorough understanding of their Team Type. We will also train the audience on how to use the tool to strengthen and develop teams within their organisation, including how to conduct, administer and give feedback.
Is an online ipsative, self-report questionnaire completed by individual team members to help them understand their preferred team archetype from 15 possible types in order to understand their contribution. It produces a computer-generated, interpretive report that can be used for individual and team development. There is an added benefit of the option to produce a team report, showing the collaboration and connections between team members. Team Insights:

By the end of the course delegates will be able to:
1 - Identify and appreciate their preferred Team Types and understand how to unlock their full potential when working in a team;
2 - Use the Team Insights tool to strengthen selection, assessment and development processes;
3 - Conduct, administer and give feedback using the Team Insights tool.
The course consists of both theory and practical sessions, a range of exercises and questionnaires are used within the course, as well as practical scenarios to enable you to practice the skills you are learning.
Competencies & Skills Developed
Knowledge of personal team working preferences and how to harness these to unlock potential. Delegates will be accredited to use the Team Insights tool and give feedback to others in order to create development actions.
Transfer of Learning into the Workplace
All delegates leave the course with individual action plans for implementation in the workplace, it is likely that they will have identified a situation within the workplace, where they can use the skills learnt and discuss the outcome with their Line Manager.
